Yellow “Changans” – messengers of separation? For a crossover Changan CS55 ask from 1,269,000 rubles

Today it has become fashionable to launch a model without OTTS on the market. Changan also went along this path: a certificate from Rosstandart for the compact crossover CS55 in the Russian representative office should be received “before the end of this week.” That is, if you discard the weekend, this deadline will come tomorrow. In the meantime, there are 150 compact Changan CS55 crossovers brought from China in warehouses: they were cleared, but they cannot be put on sale for lack of OTTS. Meanwhile, by the end of the year, the party should be sold out …
Today on the Russian consumer website Changan, along with information about prices for the new compact crossover CS55, discounts have also appeared. For example, both the representative office and the dealer pay for the trade-in branded program that allows you to save 80 thousand rubles, but, of course, not in the 50:50 ratio, but with a bias in the share of the representative office. Those that rumble in the morning: a history of Soviet garbage trucks

Today, without communal cars, the life of a big city is unthinkable, but it seems that they cause continuous inconvenience to the townspeople. We have already talked about Soviet sweepers and sprinklers, and here our heroes will be the largest and noisiest garbage trucks, which leak into our quiet courtyards early in the morning and begin to rumble methodically.

Having imagined this process, many, perhaps, will recall the current sealed clean and almost noiseless machines with a kind word, but their predecessors are destined to share white spots. Let’s try to talk about some of them. Continue reading

Dangerous filters: how to distinguish a fake from the original? (part 2)

Purely theoretically, the size of the oil filter is unimportant. The main thing that came up on the thread and landing surface. But there are much more important characteristics. For example, the pressure at which the bypass valve will operate is important. We will not fall into the abyss of filtering and confine ourselves to the conclusion that it is wrong to select filters according to thread and seat.

It is only necessary to install what is prescribed by the manufacturer. And if the filter is made poorly, then the consequences can be very diverse. In the worst case, it is simply squeezed out and the oil flows out into the street. Here, however, a motor stop after the oil pressure lamp comes on can save (and even then not always). But, for example, if the spring of the bypass valve for some reason was not strong enough, then you can drive with an actually idle filter in oil that does not pass the cleaning, and not even know about it.
