Fatal accident: instead of chippers – to the camera because of a piece of paper
The accident occurred in broad daylight at one of the “destinations”, which in our country are misunderstoodly called roads. The regular bus lost control on the bridge and fell from a ten-meter height onto the frozen ice of the Kuenga River, turning over onto the roof. Many of those who survived this car crash saved their lives only because they were fastened.
The culprit was found quickly. For lack of opportunity to land a driver who died along with passengers, the head of the transport company was detained. The investigation considered that it was precisely the incorrectly executed documents that became the root cause of the death of 19 people.
I recalled a real case from the past. In production, a stove fell from a crane and fell onto a person. The commission’s conclusion about the cause of the fatal accident: the deceased did not have a helmet … and a safety certificate.
As long as the investigation of deadly incidents in our country results in such a phantasmagoria, nothing will change – people will still die on the roads. And those who, instead of the present and impartial consideration of all circumstances, recognize the primary cause of the incident as a result of incorrectly executed documents, take upon themselves part of the blame for future tragedies.
Now you know where the cameras are. Will we violate less?
What became the real cause of the accident? Initially, investigators said that a wheel had burst on the bus. Well, let’s imagine that the wheel really broke and the bus was dragged along an icy road. But why did the bus fall into the river?
The answer is simple. There are no bumpers on the right side of this bridge that could keep the bus from falling. There is only a handrail for pedestrians and a small concrete curb separating the roadway from the sidewalk. And that’s it!
The bridge is designed in such a way that it does not protect the car from falling into the river in any way if its control is lost for one reason or another.
And if the bridge had been properly equipped, the metal chipper would have bent a little, people would have gotten off the bus and reached the house on the way. And life would go on as usual.
But the road workers during the arrangement of the bridge saved about 300 thousand rubles – the installation of a barrier fence would have cost such an amount. And it was this criminal saving on matches, more precisely on the pieces of iron, that led to the fact that the usual accident turned into a tragedy for many families.
We will die more often on the roads – traffic police forecast
Our traffic rules are written by hypocrites. The driver must drive the car at a speed that prevents any possible accident. Even that which cannot be predicted with the help of human senses! The driver, according to our officials, should be a kind of psychic and anticipate that, for example, around the turn – an icy area, for which the road workers for some reason did not have enough sand. Or to predict a tire break due to a sudden and unmarked pothole in the asphalt. Or using telepathy at night to identify a piece of reinforcement sticking out of the road. Here I am wondering: the driver is required to be able to predict the future and he is always responsible for everything, even if there was just an accident, but why the road workers and officials are never responsible for the consequences of their conscious and intentional actions. Why?!
I am sure that the owner of the transport company that carried out the ill-fated flight asks similar questions. But no answers will help him anymore. He was not lucky: the driver is dead – and now he, as the one closest to the topic, has been appointed the last one. The system will not let him go. And this means that even such terrible cases do not teach anyone anything. So we will die on the “roads” without fences, without lighting, with giant pits and reinforcing bars sticking out of the most unexpected places. After all, it’s not our fault, but the one who got into it.
